Envelope to the issue 6 of the book-newspaper "Alcohols"

Envelope 6. Release for my mother's birthday-memory, April 13.

The addressee is Leonid Slavin, then not yet a great design teacher, but just a wonderful designer. We have been friends since the last century.

In this issue, the publisher blundered badly: he printed nine sheets in reverse order. And - not to waste the good - he offered the bold subscribers of the newspaper with the Jewish page order. Defective sheets were taken apart like hot cakes. Since then, I have always been giving my users apples with barrels. As long as it works)

Here is what is written about it in the Alcoholic Chronicles:

That's really Ah! Due to an oversight and / or from fatigue, nine copies of the newspaper (the first and last pages) turned out to be printed backwards, like Jewish ones :(

However, in this mistake one can see not only the devil's machinations, but also the providence of God: the poem "Synagogue" will stand on the central spread.
I am terribly sorry to throw away innocent sheets, and paper to the brim.

Therefore, I propose:
For nine who want to have such a copy, I will print the entire newspaper "on the Jewish side."

Fortunately, almost nothing needs to be redone, just change the column numbers. The daredevils will be considered the chosen people with all the ensuing consequences. For example, hand-painted pictures or other bonuses.

Now it's printing, I can wait another week.
So who's first?

PS. If nine people are not found, the now-secret Plan B will be activated.

P.P.S. I re-read my post and realized that I didn't explain the situation well. Everything is printed normally, as it should be, not in a mirror image, but the first and last pages are reversed.
Accordingly, a back-to-front newspaper will be read like a regular newspaper, but flipped from right to left.
However, all this no longer matters, because while I was correcting the post, a fatal deja vu * came, and it was all over :)
