De Chirico visiting Morandi

No idea about the relations (if any at all) between Giorgio Mrandi and Giorgio de Chirico. But their works obviously converse with each other. The quiet still-life world of one Giorgio mirrors the blank spaces of moonlight squares of the other Giorgio.
I pictured their meeting under the arches of rainy Bologna where Morandi used to live – bow arcades that are translating shadows in Chirico’s pictures.
