Canvas, oil, palette knife; two parts, each 50x45 cm
First part: Descent of spring. Second part: Rise of spring. The most careless, hasty, crudely painted of my works. Because in the spring it is impossible otherwise. The second part is generally made up under the lenses of the film crew in the “and now we need a few frames as you draw”. Left: Payne gray, Byzantine black, burnt bone, indigo, Prussian blue, whitewash, ceruleum, azure, Mars yellow transparent, white felt-tip pen. Right: light cobalt blue, sky blue, ceruleum, light and medium cadmium yellow, Neapolitan yellow, English red, golden ocher, bone, whitewash, red felt-tip pen.
