Paper collage, sewn on by the paper to paper. Format 44x53 cmThis is the first collage in the series.
Morandi didn’t do collages. Matisse – on the contrary – very much so.
I aimed to make painting without painting, to provide paper with density of oil.
Also – to tell about interconnection of quiet with ringing.
It is left unseen in the picture, that there is another bottle (to the right) in Mirandi’s letter, of a very dark-grey hidden under a lighter dab of a brush.
