"The Silence of the Moon", also at night, and the quote is also not from the beginning. Brodsky had: "I'm sitting in the dark, and it's no worse in the room than the darkness outside." That sounds sad. My darkness is no worse on its own. Or maybe "she" refers to the moon. After all, the carpet itself is dedicated to the Moon-Selene. A waxing moon entering a sleeping house. The big "S" rhymes with the moon. And the character himself, maybe, is looking from there, from the window, from the street. Perhaps this is the most night-like composition of all.
And here is a prototype collage.
You can buy a carpet on the project's website.
