My Moscow. The city map the way it is seen by Muscovites
Format 100x70 cm. Printed on Fabriano paper (white, ivory) and Chromolux (golden, glassy)
The map is tracing all the streets, squares and most of the lanes encircled by Sadovoye Col’tso.
Besides there are some other 140 points of interest, beauty and taste: some of which are familier for the author some that have been chosen by the participants of the “points game”.
The reference to them can be found in the “legend” at the bottom of the map. There are brief (too brief perhaps – but obvious for Muscovetes) explanations each “point”
The Map had already three hugely successful editions.
It has become (in private circles) a cultic Moscow souvenire.
In my work on the maps – My Moscow and Petersburg I enjoyed the assistance of a wonderful designer – Heather Hermit.
